DIY 3D pop-up hologram projector

Do you need a cool idea for a science project? We have a great DIY for you!  Make this 3D pop up hologram projector to create amazing projecting shapes and impress your friends and teachers.

Products needed for this DIY project:

1. Millimeter graph paper

2. Plastic sheet/ plastic file

3. Scale

4. Cutter

5. Transparent tape

Gather all these products and let’s get started with our DIY project!

Step 1:

Take the millimeter graph paper and draw a line that is 1 centimeter long. Draw another line 3.5 centimeters long perpendicular to the first line. Draw a third line to the base of the second line which is 6 centimeters long. Join the first and third line by drawing two diagonals. You should now have a figure resembling the one in the image given below.

Step 2:

Trace the figure on the plastic sheet/plastic file. Cut four of these plastic shapes with the help of a cutter.

Step 3:

Stick the diagonal side of all the plastic shapes to one another using a transparent tape to form the structure of the hologram. It should look like the structure given in the image below.

Your 3D pop up hologram projector is now ready! Play a video on your phone and place this hologram structure on it to see the magic happen!
